User

Responsibilities

For Linguists: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your qualifications, experience, and language proficiency. Misrepresentation may result in removal from our directory.
For Organisations: You are responsible for clearly defining job requirements, verifying candidate suitability, and complying with employment laws.
For All Users: You agree not to misuse our website (e.g., spamming, data scraping, or unlawful activities).

Fees and

Payments

Certain services (training, coaching, directory subscriptions) may require fees.
All payments are processed securely via third-party providers.
Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Listings

Inclusion in the directory does not guarantee employment.
We may verify qualifications and reserves the right to remove any listing that breaches standards.
Organisations engaging linguists are responsible for contracts, compliance, and payments directly with the linguist (unless otherwise facilitated by LP).

Intellectual

Property

All content on our website (logo, copy, training materials, directory structure) is the intellectual property of LP or our partners.
You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce our materials without prior written consent.

Limitation of

Liability

LP acts as a facilitator and is not liable for contracts, payments, disputes, or outcomes between linguists and organisations.
We do not guarantee continuous availability of the website or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LP is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

Provide false information.
Breach these Terms.
Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
